Commercial Loan Officer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reasonably administer and service business and individual loans involving significant amounts of both secured and unsecured loans.
• Handle both large and small credits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required (Business related field preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an underwriting Commercial Loan Officer with an Agriculture lending background.
• Experience in negotiating loan workouts and asset liquidations.
• Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including, but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending.
• Ability to grow quality portfolio with annual performance goals.
• Promote Retail/Cash Management products to new and existing relationships.
• Willingness to participate in community events.
• Outside business development calls required.
• Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

• Constant use of computer screens.
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear.
• Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday.
• Long periods of typing and repetitive motion.
• Able to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds.
