Commercial Loan Officer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reasonably administer and service business and individual loans involving significant amounts of both secured and unsecured loans.
- Handle both large and small credits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required (Business related field preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an underwriting Commercial Loan Officer with an Agriculture lending background.
- Experience in negotiating loan workouts and asset liquidations.
- Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including, but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending.
- Ability to grow quality portfolio with annual performance goals.
- Promote Retail/Cash Management products to new and existing relationships.
- Willingness to participate in community events.
- Outside business development calls required.
- Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
- Able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
- Constant use of computer screens.
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear.
- Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday.
- Long periods of typing and repetitive motion.
- Able to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds.
