Commercial Litigation Associate

About the role

McGuireWoods’ Houston office seeks an Associate to join its Commercial Litigation Department. The team litigates and defends clients' interests in complex commercial matters in courtrooms and tribunals worldwide, providing innovative, business-minded, and cost-effective solutions that further clients' business goals.

Comprising more than 250 lawyers—many of them first-chair trial attorneys—the commercial litigation team helps clients unravel complex financial structures, strategic transactions, and business relationships when company resources and reputations are at stake.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a top 100 law firm setting
• Texas Bar admission required
• Strong academic record
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients, business, and legal teams
