Job Details

• Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings and discovery
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
  • Conduct research on complex litigation issues to effectively provide legal advice
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies
  • Attend depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Manage relationships with clients to maintain the firm's reputation for excellence and client satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other attorneys in the commercial litigation practice area
  • Stay updated with changes in law and inform clients about the implications of these changes on their cases

• Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation
  • Admission to the state bar
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and communication skills
  • Proven experience in drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle large caseloads, manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards
