Commercial Lines Sales Producer

Responsibilities

• Sell commercial insurance products to new and existing clients.
• Drive profitable growth and meet sales quotas through new business and client retention.
• Generate and pursue new client opportunities through prospecting and networking.
• Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to both new and existing clients.
• Negotiate insurance coverage terms and conditions with management teams after determining the client's commercial insurance needs against available insurance products.
• Implement various networking strategies to maintain relationships and grow the customer base.
• Stay current on insurance coverage provisions, changes within the insurance industry, new regulations, and pertinent legislation to ensure customers understand their coverage terms and insurance services.
• Support the client's efforts to head off potential insurance claims by presenting them with reliable risk management services.

• Maintaining Murray & MacDonald's cultural standards for its stakeholders (clients, prospects, shareholders, employees, carriers, and community).
• Displaying a proactive, positive, enterprising, constructive, team-centered mindset.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a P&C and LAH license.
• Proficiency in IT.
• Insurance agency/carrier experience is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Time Management, Organization, and Adaptability.
