  • Review insurance policies and contracts and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare property and casualty insurance submissions for new business prospects and renewing accounts, including insurance specifications for each line of coverage, ACORD applications, loss summaries, prospect profiles, and exposure schedules.
  • Analyze Excel spreadsheets of prospect client exposure and/or loss data, and develop financial models of loss-sensitive programs when necessary.
  • Maintain familiarity and working relationships with various insurance companies and wholesalers, and stay informed of carrier appetites and market trends.
  • Handle confidential and non-routine information.
  • Use rating tools and carrier systems to assist in the quoting and proposal development process.
  • Abide by and maintain all licensing requirements, including continuing education.
  • Attend seminars, company meetings, carrier events, and educational activities to improve overall job expertise and product knowledge.
  • Perform coverage gap analysis and deliver strategic coverage recommendations tailored to each client’s specific risk profile.
  • Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects.
  • Identify opportunities to engage Risk Resources for specialized expertise and partner with them to deliver tailored solutions for complex client needs.
