Commercial Lines Insurance Inspector
About the role
We are seeking EXPERIENCED INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS to complete insurance underwriting inspections.
Our services to our insurance company customers that are completed in the field primarily focus on commercial & residential inspections as well as workers’ compensation inspections. We strongly value experience in commercial property inspections, as most of the work is typically in commercial lines.
Responsibilities
- Travel to insureds' business sites to evaluate hazards and safety concerns.
- Interview the business owner to gather information.
- Tour the premises and make necessary measurements.
- Take photos and identify hazards and safety concerns.
- Work in areas where WC field inspections are assigned, adding significant value with relevant experience.
Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- A strong work ethic
- A high degree of personal integrity
- Attention to detail
- Mathematical aptitude; ability to see spatial relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- The ability to interact professionally via telephone or in person, with policyholders (insureds), clients, and their representatives
