Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager

About the role

The Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager position is available in Nassau County, NY. The work schedule is full-time with some flexibility. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and issue Certificates of Insurance in a timely manner
• Handle endorsement and policy change requests
• Submit loss run requests and manage follow-up communications
• Aid in preparing insurance recommendations and summaries
• Maintain and update client records within Applied EPIC
• Support Account Managers on large, complex accounts, particularly in real estate (a plus!)

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Commercial Lines insurance agency
• Exposure to large accounts, particularly real estate risks (highly preferred)
• Proficiency in Applied EPIC and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills and a team-player attitude
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client service
• Active P&C license (plus)
