Responsibilities

  • Exhibits proven competence in all Assistant Account Manager duties and knowledge requirements;
  • Compiles renewal requests to the clients and completes marketing submissions as directed by the Account Executive;
  • Generates insurance proposals, summaries of insurance and policy schedules as needed;
  • Manages the renewal of non-oil and gas lines of coverage, crime bonds and miscellaneous coverages that do not renew with the majority of the account;
  • Discusses and resolves coverage issues for clients under the direction of the Account Executive;
  • Reviews quotes for accuracy, requests, reviews and processes binders;
  • Reviews carrier invoices for accuracy and processes any requests for financing;
  • Requests, calculates and processes Well Reports;
  • Sets up master certificate of insurance within Epic;
  • Processes and provides premium allocations;
  • Reviews and resolves any Accounts Receivables issues on a weekly basis with input from the Account Executive and/or Producer;
  • Works with clients and carriers on processing final audits;
  • Oversees and delegates work to the Assistant Account Manager and Account Representatives;
  • Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date;
  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Six (6) or more years related work experience;
  • Experience with oil and gas insurance a plus;
  • Valid Insurance License;
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal;

  • Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills;
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
