Job Overview

The Commercial Lines Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering high-quality service while managing commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance policies. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of a book of small to mid-sized commercial accounts across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial accounts.
  • Provide exceptional service and ongoing account management.
  • Manage a book of small to mid-sized commercial accounts across multiple industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and insurance carriers.
  • Coincordinate and market policy renewals with Producers/Account Executives.
  • Prepare competitive renewal options and present recommendations to clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records within the agency management system.
  • Ensure policies, endorsements, renewals, and related documentation are processed accurately and on time.
  • Proactively identify and address clients' insurance needs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of recent experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager.
  • Current Property, Casualty & Surety Producer License required.
  • Professional designations such as CIC, CRIS, or CISR preferred.
  • Experience managing a book of small to mid-sized commercial accounts.
  • Strong understanding of commercial P&C insurance products and coverages.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
