Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Expertise in insurance coverages and needs of accounts
• Discussing coverages with insured’s
• Marketing new coverages
• Marketing renewals
• Working with producers
• Negotiating changes and renewal pricing with insurance company underwriters
• Answering clients’ requests about coverages, policy forms and endorsements, claim concerns or issues
• Attaching emails into the agency management system
• Issue proposals
• Submitting applications to insurance carriers for renewal marketing in line with agency procedures
• Working with producers on client questions and renewal collaboration

Requirements

• Strong marketing, communication, and customer service skills
• The ability to work in Applied Epic
• An understanding of policy billing
• The ability to prepare Excel spreadsheets
• The ability to handle issues with clients and find solutions

Office Hours

8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Occasional remote work with prior approval

In office attire is business casual
