About the role
The Commercial Lines Account Manager at Leavitt Group Southwest is responsible for managing and servicing complex commercial accounts, with a focus on Oil & Gas operations. This position requires 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policy forms, and risk exposures within the Oil & Gas industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service an assigned book of commercial business, with a focus on Oil & Gas accounts.
- Build strong client relationships by providing timely, accurate, and professional support.
- Cook up renewals, policy changes, endorsements, audits, certificates, and other servicing needs.
- Review coverage needs and provide guidance on risk management and insurance solutions.
- Collaborate with producers and carrier partners to market, quote, and place new and renewal business.
- Analyze policies and renewal terms to identify coverage gaps, exposures, and opportunities for improvement.
- Aid clients with billing questions, claims coordination, and policy-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information within agency management systems.
- Stay informed on industry trends, carrier appetite, underwriting guidelines, and market conditions affecting Oil & Gas risks.
- Identify cross-selling and account-rounding opportunities to enhance client protection and support agency growth.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty License.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A consultative approach to account management with a client service mindset.
- Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office products.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policy forms, and risk exposures within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience working with Construction, Agriculture/Farm, or other complex commercial accounts is highly valued.
