Commercial Lines Account Manager

About the role

This position serves as the primary service contact for the client and acts as the liaison with the carriers, primarily responsible for day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance accounts.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with clients and carriers
• Main contact person with insureds and carriers for all assigned accounts
• Backup for assigned producer(s)
• Maintain expiration spreadsheet for all assigned accounts
• Complete all required reports as requested by Leadership
• Handle or assign and oversee all day-to-day functions of account service
• Assist other team members as needed
• Handle new business (including marketing)
• Handle renewals (including marketing)
• Use carrier online rating systems as needed
• Review and update activities daily as needed
• Call on urgent items
• Invoice and process endorsements, update activities accordingly

Requirements

• Must hold a property and casualty insurance license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the insurance industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Pay

$36.06 - $40.87 hourly
