Commercial Lighting Electrician (Bucket Truck) - Knoxville, TN

Stones River Electric is seeking a Commercial Lighting Bucket Electrician to support our growing national operations, offering competitive hourly rates based on experience. The role involves troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial lighting systems across retail, office, industrial, and hospitality facilities, with travel required as needed including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose lighting and electrical issues
• Perform repairs and retrofits
• Operate and maintain a bucket truck
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Provide service, repair, and maintenance across commercial environments (retail, office, industrial, hospitality)
• Work independently and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
• Experience operating and maintaining a bucket truck
• Experience with equipment hauling (preferred)
• Experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, including overnight stays
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field
• Comfortable using basic technology (e.g., iPad)
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and MVR
• Basic hand tools required: meter, pliers, wire strippers, tape measure
