About the role

This position focuses on identifying lending opportunities, soliciting and developing business activity, specializing in commercial loans, and contributing to the development of commercial loan objectives, policies, and practices. The role is based in Dallas, TX (Frisco).

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong, low-risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service.
  • Act as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing, and servicing a portfolio of clients.
  • Develop, generate, and follow up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments.
  • Call on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations as needed.
  • Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing, and perceptive character judgment.
  • Cross-sell other bank products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of directly related experience.
  • Formal credit training preferred.
  • Strong underwriting skills.
  • Expert knowledge of marketing, networking, credit-associated lending, and sales.
  • Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
