Commercial Lending Associate

About the role

This position serves as a Commercial Lending Associate in Burr & Forman's Mobile, AL office. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree and Alabama State Bar membership. Prior experience in corporate, real estate, lending, and estate planning is preferred. Strong academic credentials, research, writing, organizational, and analytical skills are required.

Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing loan documents and performing due diligence. - Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients. - Draft and review contracts and other legal documents. - Manage client relationships and attend meetings. - Participate in professional development activities.

Requirements

- J.D. degree from an accredited law school. - Membership in the Alabama State Bar. - Experience in corporate, real estate, lending, and estate planning is preferred. - Excellent academic credentials. - Strong research, writing, organizational, and analytical skills. - Qualified to practice law in Alabama.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
