Legacy Commercial Property is a rapidly growing, full-service commercial real estate company specializing in leasing, acquisitions, development, construction, and property management of retail centers. The company’s portfolio consists of 700+ retail properties and over 6M square feet across 23+ states. Legacy is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, and is part of Highland Ventures, a family-owned management company focused on strategically developing and operating businesses centered around its real estate portfolio.

About the role

The Commercial Leasing Agent will procure tenants to lease space in Legacy Commercial Property’s owned portfolio of over 700 properties, with a specific focus on leasing new retail developments within the Southeast. The role requires confidence in cold calling and working with large national retailers. The ideal candidate is highly driven, with outstanding organizational and communication skills, and the ability to sell to national and regional tenants.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing efforts for Legacy's ground-up retail strip center developments, working closely with the development team to secure tenants for new construction projects.
• Canvass possible tenants to lease space within the 700+ Highland Ventures-owned properties.
• Lead negotiations of lease terms.
• Use data analytics to analyze the real estate portfolio, create target lists, and perform void analysis.
• Consistently create and manage relationships within the commercial real estate space.
• Partner with other members of the leasing team to obtain new tenants and develop the pipeline of potential partners.
• Develop relationships with brokers in target markets as needed to lease difficult properties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate sales; retail leasing experience is a plus.

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position in Brentwood, TN. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday.
