About the role

Join a Fortune 500 leader in commercial real estate services. As a CBRE Maintenance Technician specializing in Preventative Maintenance & Troubleshooting, Electrical, Commercial Kitchen and Appliance equipment, you'll ensure the seamless operation of critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Aid with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
  • Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician or job-related experience.
  • EPA Universal Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Skills

  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
