Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician - Hot side
maybe. The "Why you'll love it here!" list includes benefits: Competitive compensation, Portal to portal pay, Overtime opportunities, Company vehicle, Company credit card for all travel expenses, Company cell phone, Medical, dental, vision benefits from Day One!, 401(k) with company match, Paid time off and holidays, Ongoing technical training and certification support - CFESP prep programs, hands-on manufactures training, Tuition reimbursement for additional certifications, Career progression opportunities into a Senior Service Technician, Lead Technician, Field Supervisor, or Service Manager roles. We need Benefits section if posting actually states them. Yes, we have benefits list. So we can have
Benefits
with- items.
Pay: The posting mentions "Competitive compensation" but not specific numbers. It says "Compensation includes the posted base salary range and does not reflect potential commission...". No actual numbers given. So we should NOT create Pay section because no specific salary range. The rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. Benefits we have specifics, so okay. Pay not specific, so omit.
Schedule: Not mentioned explicitly besides "Field Based - Full Time". That's schedule info: full time. Could we create Schedule section? It says "Field Based - Full Time". That's schedule info. The rule: include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text. "Full Time" is specific. So we could have Schedule section with maybe
Field Based - Full Time
. But we need to decide if we want a Schedule section. The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Could combine Schedule into maybe a brief paragraph under Position Summary? But they said usefor section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can include Schedule if we have content. We have "Field Based - Full Time". That's schedule. Could also include location: Savannah, GA. That could be under About the role or Position Summary. We'll keep Position Summary as a section maybe with
Position Summary
and include location and reporting line. Responsibilities: Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities list. Requirements: Required Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications maybe combined into Requirements? Could have Requirements section with required qualifications, and maybe Skills? But we have Core Competencies list. Could treat as Skills section. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. So no heading for "Service Technician". Use headings for sections. We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from the posting, except boilerplate. Let's extract substantive content: Company description paragraph: "TriMark USA is the country’s largest provider of design services, equipment, and supplies to the foodservice industry. We proudly serve our customers by providing design services, commercial equipment, and foodservice supplies across a wide range of industries and business sectors. Headquartered in Massachusetts, with a history dating back to 1896, we have locations across the country that offer foodservice operators an unparalleled level of service by combining our unique design capabilities and our expert market knowledge with the purchasing strength, delivery, installation, and after-sales service capabilities of a national company. Our employees are focused on creating customized solutions for our clients to ensure they achieve their culinary goals while upholding our I.C.A.R.E. values: Integrity, Customer Service, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. For more information, please visit: www.trimarkusa.com" We can keep that as amaybe under an "About the company" but not required heading. Could just include as opening paragraph. "Why you'll love it here!" list: we will put under Benefits. Position Summary: "The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager Located in Savannah, GA Field Based - Full Time TriMark USA is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician – Hot side to support our commercial kitchen equipment customers. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining commercial cooking equipment within customer facilities. This role ensures equipment reliability, food safety, and operational continuity for restaurants, healthcare facilities, hospitality, education, and other foodservice operations supported by TriMark USA. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, customer-focused, safety-driven, and experienced in servicing gas and electric hot-side equipment in high-volume commercial kitchen environments." We can put that as
Position Summary
with... maybe split into two paragraphs. Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities list: bullet list. Required Qualifications: list. Preferred Qualifications: list. Core Competencies: list. We could combine Required and Preferred into Requirements section, but we have separate headings possible: Requirements (Required Qualifications) and Preferred Qualifications maybe as part of Requirements? The instruction: Use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we could have Responsibilities, Requirements (maybe includes required and preferred), Skills (Core Competencies). Benefits separate. We need to avoid filler headings. So we will include: - Position Summary (maybe as About the role? but we can use Position Summary as heading? Not in list but allowed? The instruction says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says e.g., not exclusive. So we can use Position Summary as heading if we want. But better to follow examples: About the role could serve as position summary. We'll use About the role. Thus sections: About the role (position summary + location/reporting) Responsibilities (essential functions) Requirements (required qualifications + preferred qualifications maybe) Skills (core competencies) Benefits (why you'll love it here) We could also include Schedule if we want but we already have location and full time in About the role. We must not include Pay section. Now we need to format lists: Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits.
For prose, use
. We need to preserve all substantive information: include details like "Valid driver’s license with clean driving record", "Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in confined or high-temperature environments", etc. Also include "CFESA certification", "Factory training on major hot-side manufacturers", "Basic refrigeration equipment knowledge (a plus)", "Experience in foodservice, hospitality, or institutional environments". Core Competencies list: "Technical troubleshooting expertise", "Strong customer service orientation", "Accountability and ownership", "Team collaboration", "Time management and route efficiency", "Attention to detail and safety awareness", "Ability to work independently with minimal supervision". Now we need to remove boilerplate: The lines about compensation includes posted base salary range etc, EEO, scam alert, accommodation request, etc. Also remove "For more information, please visit: www.trimarkusa.com" maybe keep? It's part of company description but could be considered boilerplate? It's a link; maybe keep as it's substantive? It's not essential but could be considered company info. The instruction: Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The website link is not exactly boilerplate but could be considered navigation? It's just a link. I'd keep it as part of company description. Also remove "#MKIndeed" line. Now craft HTML. Structure:
