Responsibilities

• Pipe cooler boxes and refrigeration cases, including electrical wiring as required
• Install pipe hangers as directed by the foreman
• Weld and slip hose copper pipes
• Assist the foreman as needed on the job
• Support by handing cooler box coils and installing new supermarket refrigeration systems or remodeling existing systems

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education / Training: High school diploma or GED, equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes
• Licenses: Journeyman license to meet state requirements
• Work Experience / Skills: 4+ years of experience in the construction industry preferred, hands-on field experience in commercial refrigeration, electrical, and/or fixtures construction, copper brazing, market remodeling
• Physical Demands: Regularly walks, stands, bends, kneels, stoops, crouches, climbs, uses hands and fingers, lifts up to 50 pounds occasionally, requires excellent stamina for strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
