Commercial Journeyman Electrician
About the role
Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Journeyman Electrician to join our team within our electrical division. We have minimal work in the ST George area. You will be expected to travel to various work site locations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, organize, and execute electrical construction projects.
- Able to adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Show relevant experience in commercial and residential electrical.
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Read and understand blueprints well.
- Bend up to 1 1/2" conduit.
- Install electrical components and equipment.
- Work independently.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
- Mentor apprentice electricians on the jobsite.
- Contribute positively to a team environment.
- Show dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
- Perform other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Requirements
- Must have an active state Journeyman license.
- Willing to work out of town 50%-100% of the time.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug and functional capacity test.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Have all tools for the trade.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
