Commercial Insurance Inspector- (Baltimore, MD.)

Job Description

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards. Contractors will work from home or an office, performing field inspections and risk control services in the Baltimore, MD area and nearby regions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys
• Provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients
• Evaluate businesses for Property and General Liability coverage
• Identify hazards and improve safety
• Mitigate risks for insurance company clients
• Service other commercial insurance lines of business including Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine, and Builders Risk

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and fire and safety
• Open to candidates without prior experience, who can enroll in a 15-hour online certification program
• Fees are negotiable based on experience and job specifics
