Commercial HVACR Service Technician

Air-Ref Co. Inc. is a local and family-owned company serving Palm Beach County and Broward County with HVAC, automation, refrigeration, and electrical services since 1984. We provide excellent service, quality workmanship, and reliability, advising customers as if they were part of our family.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment failures and customer home comfort issues.
• Maintain required levels of truck stock items.
• Advises Service Manager or Service Dispatcher when assigned projects fall behind average repair times.
• Arrive promptly at the designated start time for first calls.
• Properly diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment.
• Explain services and policies prior to diagnostic and repair.
• Charge and collect for all work performed according to company policy and procedures.
• Record all hours and materials used on each job in the dispatch program and turn in completed paperwork and related forms daily.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with services rendered before leaving the site.
• Keep work area neat and organized, free of scrap and debris.
• Provide customers with information on maintenance contracts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo an MVR and background check.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
