Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and service rooftop units, split systems, chillers, boilers, pumps, air handlers, and VAV systems
- Inspect, test, and adjust HVAC components including compressors, motors, blowers, thermostats, breakers, wiring, switches, and controls
- Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems at the component and control board level
- Perform system diagnostics and implement corrective actions efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain active certifications
- Keep accurate logs of system performance, pressures, temperatures, airflow, and humidity
- Provide timely, professional service and communicate clearly with clients
Required Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience servicing and maintaining industrial/commercial HVAC systems
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Ability to diagnose complex HVAC system issues under pressure
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to lift, push, and carry up to 75 pounds
- Able to work in tight spaces, on rooftops, ladders, and outdoor conditions year-round
- Able to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, climb, and bend frequently throughout the day
