Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC
• EPA Certification (608) Universal License
• Commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments
• Participates in ongoing training to stay updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Valid Driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record

Pay

The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results and ranges from $48.41 to $56.95 per hour.
