$65,000–$85,000/year based on experience, plus overtime potential, monthly productivity/profit bonuses, and a $4,000 signing bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Commission CaptiveAire equipment by verifying products operate as designed: testing airflows, reviewing installations, running automated tests via laptop, and physically testing all equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose complex system issues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with facility managers, property owners, and team members regarding system status, repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Strictly adhere to EPA regulations and company safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC systems or related experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required).
  • OSHA 10 Certification (suggested).
  • EPA Universal Certification (suggested).
  • Strong understanding of single/three-phase electrical systems, ability to read commercial wiring schematics, and knowledge of refrigeration cycles.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, work on ladders/roofs, in tight spaces, and in varied weather conditions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, strong verbal/written communication, and a safety-minded approach.
  • Clean and professional appearance; company uniforms are provided and required.
  • Complete a 1-week new hire training course at our R&D facility in PA; ability to travel is required.
