About the role
Professor Gatsby's Heating, Cooling & Plumbing of West Berlin, NJ is seeking a full-time Business to Business / Commercial HVAC Sales Representative.
Responsibilities
- Set appointments and go over HVAC products at businesses.
- Personalize connections with clients to offer them the best possible solutions for their home comfort needs.
- Recommend appropriate equipment and services after listening to their concerns.
- Explain associated benefits honestly, clearly, and accurately.
- Use sales skills to offer solutions for common concerns.
- Follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Facilitate more comfortable businesses at fair prices for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in a construction-related industry OR business to business (B2B) sales.
- Sales ability.
- Ability to spread awareness of business incentives to upgrade heating, air & lighting.
- Canvassing and building relationships for lead generation.
- Willingness to travel throughout South Jersey and surrounding areas.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Existing commercial customer relationships preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of experience is preferred but multiple factors will be considered.
- Dependable and energetic go-getter.
- Goal-oriented and coachable team player.
- Easy establishment of good rapport.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
- Ethical and respectful behavior.
