The Role

Responsibilities

  • Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across NYC Metro and NJ.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controls-related issues with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Work on equipment such as rooftop units, split systems, refrigeration systems, exhaust systems, make-up air units, boilers, chillers, and related commercial mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance that helps clients reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and extend equipment life.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, dispatch, service leadership, and team members about findings, repairs, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Represent Airlogix with professionalism, integrity, clean workmanship, and respect on every jobsite.
  • Use technology, diagnostics, and service documentation to support smarter solutions and better client outcomes.
  • Support team growth by sharing knowledge, asking good questions, and contributing to a culture of excellence.
  • Follow safety standards, code requirements, and company procedures while working in commercial and industrial environments.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial HVAC-R service experience, preferably in commercial and/or industrial environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and controls issues.
  • EPA Certification required; Universal EPA strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean, insurable driving record.
  • OSHA/SST or applicable NYC jobsite safety credentials preferred.
  • Professional communication skills with clients, team members, and leadership.
  • Pride in your craft, strong work ethic, and the ability to take ownership of your calls.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean, insurable driving record.

Skills

  • Commercial HVAC-R service experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and controls issues.

  • Universal EPA certification preferred.
