Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician [FST - Tallahassee, FL]

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Commercial HVAC Units and light industrial equipment.
• Maintain equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock and anticipating needed parts based on analytical trends.
• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components.
• Conduct repair and preventive maintenance for Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Units.
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices and listening for issues.
• Provide daily reports and communicate regularly with store managers, regional DOC Supervisor, and office administrators.
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools, and examine form and texture of parts.
• Identify and procure correct parts for equipment in a timely manner.
• Adhere to OSHA and DOC safety regulations.
• Maintain company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with commercial HVAC-Refrigeration equipment such as Walk-in Freezers, Reach-in Freezers, Ice Machines, Coolers, etc.
• EPA Certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability and desire to be cross-trained on additional equipment for year-round work.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with MS Office products and advanced phone apps.
• Ability to provide your own set of tools.
