Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician [FST - Richmond, VA]

For over 28 years, DOC Services has kept customers' equipment running, cutting downtime and protecting their bottom line. Now we're growing, and we need an HVACR Technician to join us. If you know your way around Commercial HVAC, refrigeration, walk-in and reach-in coolers, ice machines, and freezers, we want to put your skills to work — and reward you for them.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components to find the source of a problem
• Perform repair and preventative maintenance on Commercial HVAC and refrigeration units
• Diagnose issues by observing equipment in operation and listening for what's wrong
• Dismantle and repair equipment using hand and power tools, then reassemble it right
• Identify and order the correct parts quickly to minimize downtime
• Keep parts and supply inventory stocked, anticipating what you'll need based on trends
• Report in daily and stay in regular contact with store managers, your regional DOC supervisor, and office admin
• Follow OSHA and DOC safety regulations on every job
• Maintain your company vehicle
