Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
• Solve problems independently and as part of a team
• Communicate effectively with customers and support staff
• Stock and maintain tools and equipment
• Provide quality service and integrity
• Follow safety procedures and complete background checks
• Pass an EPA certification test

Requirements

• Universal EPA certification
• Valid driver’s license
• 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience, including refrigeration
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
• Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Basic technology skills for navigating mobile apps and documentation

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and move heavy objects
• Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces
• Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders
• Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods
• Dexterity for precise tasks

Skills

• Universal EPA certification

Pay

The base pay for this position is up to $45 an hour, determined based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Helios also offers a variety of additional benefits including health insurance, retirement savings, and professional development opportunities.

Schedule

Technicians are dispatched from home and paid door-to-door, offering flexibility and convenience. On-call availability may be required for emergencies.
