About This Role

This role involves redefining service excellence by fixing and maintaining HVAC systems. It requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on, field-based role.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units
• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines
• Service refrigeration equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps
• Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems
• Assemble and install metal ductwork and assist in HVAC system planning and design
• Ensure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations by maintaining detailed maintenance records
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment
• Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards

Required Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED
• A valid and current Driver’s License and insurability by the company’s insurance carrier
• 3-5 years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry with rooftop units
• The ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs
• EPA Universal certification
• The ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on rooftops

Preferred Qualifications

• A basic understanding of building automation controls
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax

Pay Range

The hourly rate for this position is between $38.00 - $76.00 per hour. Factors such as skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate may affect the pay within this range.
