Commercial HVAC Installer

The Commercial HVAC Installer will work on commercial installation projects throughout the Pittsburgh area, installing HVAC equipment and related components from blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Install and secure ductwork, piping, controls, and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job specifications.
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
• Assist with equipment start‑ups, testing, and system operation.
• Follow project specifications, local codes, and company safety procedures.
• Communicate job progress, material needs, and field issues to leadership.
• Maintain quality workmanship throughout each installation.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Experience working with commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical plans.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC installation practices.
• EPA 608 Certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving history.

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.

Pay

$25.00‑$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
