Role

Our Commercial HVAC/R Technicians are responsible for the operations, repairs, replacement and preventative maintenance of commercial and industrial air conditioning and heating systems. This includes walk in boxes and refrigerators, ice machines, kairak refrigeration systems, air handlers, fan coil units, cooling towers, chillers, controls and other building mechanical and electrical equipment.

Job Duties

  • Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools
  • Provide quality customer service while troubleshooting and diagnosing air conditioning, refrigeration, heating units and various other associated equipment
  • Maintain detailed documentation of service work performed, with complete reports, parts needed, and condition of systems needed for any follow ups
  • Assist with providing estimates, proposals, follow-ups, bid preparation and parts orders when assigned or needed
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule as needed
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronics
  • Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in troubleshooting and repair of Refrigeration and HVAC/R Commercial equipment
  • Have own industry-specific tools
  • Strong work ethic and desire to gain industry knowledge
  • Problem solving, critical thinking, and mechanical aptitude skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Available and willing to work overtime and the 24 emergency on-call cycle
  • EPA certification

Pay

$30 - $50 an hour
