Commercial Fleet Service Technician

About the role

Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise is now hiring Service Technicians for their Commercial Fleet Service Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair orders, record test procedures/results and time, per company recording and clocking procedures.
• Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

Requirements

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience.
• ASE and manufacturer certification are not required.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Schedule

Ideal candidates must have open availability to work any day/shift. Commercial Fleet Service Center Hours: Monday through Friday; 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Pay

Pay rates vary depending on experience and certifications. Experienced A & B techs pay range: $22-40 flat rate hour. Experienced C & D techs pay range: $17-20 flat rate hour. There is no cap on hours for motivated technicians.
