Commercial Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and bids for commercial electrical construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project scope to determine labor, material, and equipment requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Develop accurate project cost estimates and proposals.
• Identify potential cost issues, scope gaps, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the estimating process.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Support the company's continued growth through accurate estimating and effective project planning.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commercial Estimator, preferably with an electrical contractor.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction and estimating practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team.
