Commercial Equipment Installer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated person to help expand the Installation division of our business. This is a growing department, and the Ideal candidate will have mechanical, light plumbing, and electrical experience. Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installers are responsible for the delivery and installation of commercial food service equipment to new construction projects as well as operating establishments as well as final utility connections for gas, plumbing and electrical. Testing operation of new equipment and removal of existing equipment is also required. Clark is a well-established company that prides itself on years of relationship building. Responsibilities

• Maintaining high quality customer service and care
• Traveling to construction sites to unload and move equipment into place.
• Perform professional installations of commercial kitchen equipment with team members.
• Able to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship.
• Off-Loading trucks and trailers
• Construct components/fixtures for equipment in the warehouse or in the field.
• Traveling to install jobs in PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA
• OVERNIGHT STAYS AS LONG AS FOUR CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS NEAR JOB SITE IS REQUIRED, DEPENDING ON JOB LOCATION.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience
• Knowledge of installation of Commercial Kitchen Equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass FBI Fingerprinting tests
• Able to lift heavy equipment regularly and navigate construction job sites.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Able to pass and maintain PA DOT driver qualifications.
• A CDL is NOT required.
• Qualified to drive 26’ & 16’ box trucks

• Basic knowledge of standard utilities; NG, Electrical, Plumbing
• Construction Experience
• Capable of reading blueprints
• Forklift experience helpful but not required, will train.
