About the Role

We are looking for a motivated person to help expand the Installation division of our business. This is a growing department focused on the delivery and installation of commercial food service equipment to new construction projects and operating establishments, including final utility connections for gas, plumbing, and electrical. The role also involves testing new equipment and removing existing equipment. Clark is a well-established company with a strong reputation for relationship building and continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high-quality customer service and care.
  • Travel to construction sites to unload and move equipment into place.
  • Perform professional installations of commercial kitchen equipment with team members.
  • Follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Off-load trucks and trailers.
  • Construct components/fixtures for equipment in the warehouse or in the field.
  • Travel to install jobs in PA, NJ, MD, DE, and VA, with overnight stays of up to four consecutive nights near the job site, depending on location.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires effective communication using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of installation of commercial kitchen equipment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to pass FBI fingerprinting tests.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment regularly and navigate construction job sites.
  • Valid driver’s license is required; qualified to drive 26’ & 16’ box trucks.
  • Able to pass and maintain PA DOT driver qualifications (CDL is NOT required).

Qualifications

Desired Skills & Traits

  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of standard utilities: natural gas, electrical, plumbing.
  • Construction experience.
  • Capable of reading blueprints.
  • Forklift experience helpful but not required; will train.
  • Reliable, accountable, self-starter with a quality-driven mindset; employees who do not require micromanagement should apply.
