The Pratt and Whitney internship program provides valuable exposure to the area of commercial engines, skills, disciplines, and functions.

Responsibilities

• Support various Commercial Engines teams by assisting with data collection, analysis, and the preparation of insights that inform business and operational decisions.
• Contribute to ongoing projects by helping coordinate activities, tracking progress, and documenting key updates or outcomes.
• Develop and maintain reports, summaries, or presentations for internal stakeholders across business, technical, and customer‑focused groups.
• Assist in evaluating current processes, identifying improvement/automation opportunities, and recommending practical, data‑supported solutions.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings to understand how commercial, technical, and customer perspectives come together within the Commercial Engines organization.
• Help prepare materials for leadership reviews, team briefings, or customer‑related analyses.
• Support ad‑hoc tasks and special projects aligned with commercial strategy, operational performance, or business transformation initiatives.
• Engage in intern program activities, networking sessions, and learning opportunities to build knowledge of the commercial engines business.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Business fields, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering fields related to Aviation, Industrial or Manufacturing and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience with general business operations
• Experience in Microsoft Office Tools
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Preferred qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Prior internship experience

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

Pay

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD – 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
