About the role
At TRIO Electric, you'll work on some of the largest commercial construction projects in Houston while being supported by industry-leading planning, BIM coordination, prefab operations, and experienced field leadership. Our electricians spend more time installing and less time searching for materials, waiting on answers, or reworking mistakes.
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Electrician, you'll install and maintain electrical systems on commercial construction projects throughout the Houston area. Projects may include hospitals and medical facilities, universities and schools, office buildings, retail centers, parking garages, and commercial and industrial facilities. Responsibilities include:
- Installing conduit, wire, panels, devices, and electrical equipment
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
- Performing wall rough-in, deck rough-in, conduit rough-in, and fixture installation
- Bending and installing EMT and other raceway systems
- Pulling wire and terminating electrical equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving installation issues
- Maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards
- Working closely with foremen, crew leaders, and project teams to deliver successful projects
Requirements
Typical work schedule is approximately 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM depending on project requirements.
Qualifications
- Commercial electrical construction experience
- Ability to install conduit, wire, and electrical systems with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience with commercial rough-in and finish work
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices
- Reliable transportation to Houston-area jobsites
- Personal electrical tools
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Pay
