Take ownership of major commercial drywall projects where your decisions directly impact the schedule, client relationship, and bottom line. This senior-level role oversees large-scale commercial drywall and metal framing projects valued at $3M–$5M+, managing everything from project startup and buyout through billing, change orders, field coordination, and closeout. Primarily office-based in Acworth, Georgia, with periodic jobsite visits throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial drywall and metal framing projects from contract review and project startup through completion and closeout
  • Manage shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, engineering coordination, and project revisions while identifying impacts to cost and schedule
  • Oversee subcontractor and supplier buyout, vendor negotiations, material procurement, and coordination with field operations
  • Own project financial performance including cost tracking, budgeting, monthly billing, change orders, labor productivity, and overall profitability
  • Partner closely with General Superintendents, Foremen, and subcontractors to maintain schedules, resolve issues, and keep projects moving
  • Attend jobsite coordination and scheduling meetings while maintaining strong relationships with GCs, owners, architects, vendors, and project partners
  • Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate documentation, strong communication, and consistent execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial drywall contractor
  • Direct experience working for a commercial drywall subcontractor with strong knowledge of drywall and metal framing
  • Proven experience managing large commercial projects valued at approximately $3M–$5M+
  • Strong command of project financials including budgeting, cost control, billing, buyout, change orders, and profitability
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, vendors, subcontractors, and coordination between office and field teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and technology skills with the ability to work effectively with GCs, owners, architects, vendors, and field personnel
  • Valid driver's license with proficiency in modern construction management platforms such as ACC, Procore, or similar systems
