About the role

Precision Walls, Inc. (PWI) is a leading contractor in the commercial drywall and framing industry. We are currently seeking experienced Commercial Drywall Hangers and Framers to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all steps of drywall hanging as a team.
  • Understands and demonstrates the ability to hang walls, top-out, ceilings, and can operate screw-guns, lifting wedges (jacks), roto-zips, rasps, and T-squares.
  • Experience with various commercial drywall boards and proficiency in measuring and marking surfaces according to blueprints and drawings.
  • Inspects framing surfaces for imperfections and marks surfaces for correction using paint or grease pencils before starting work.
  • Works independently on jobsites and oversees less experienced installers/laborers.
  • Coordinates with General Contractors (GC) and other subcontractors to ensure project expectations are met.
  • Identifies and resolves conflicts in site-specific conditions to avoid delays in the project timeline.
  • Responsible for patching and repairing existing drywall to achieve a like-new appearance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in production finishing and being a specialist in the field.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to acquiring trade knowledge and maintaining quality excellence.
  • Compliance with safety procedures and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen to and follow instructions.
  • Dependable transportation and bilingualism (English/Spanish) is a plus.
