Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Trainer, Part-Time (STF3007)

Essential Functions

• Provide instruction in preparation for Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) pre-trip truck/trailer inspection test for CDL training students
• Provide driving instruction in preparation for DMV truck/trailer driving test for CDL training students
• Maintain records of student instructional appointments and drive time
• Maintain and oversee repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers for CDL program
• Teach CDL classroom and student driving sessions assigned
• Cookordinate training schedules with other driving instructor(s)
• Cookordinate with program secretary concerning additional drive time purchases and course completion certificates
• Communicate with program coordinator about equipment, student scheduling needs, and other applicable issues related to the CDL program
• Create and prepare instructional materials as needed
• Work effectively within a team setting
• Comply with policies and procedures set forth by HutchCC
• Arrive on time for work and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position
• Serve actively on campus committees
