Commercial Driver - Full-Time

Role Overview: A commercial truck driver is responsible for safely collecting waste and recyclables from commercial and residential locations across specified counties. The role involves operating a waste collection vehicle in compliance with DOT, local, state, and federal regulations, and ensuring proper documentation and vehicle inspections. Key Responsibilities Operate vehicles following all safety and regulatory standardsPerform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR reportsNotify Dispatch of incidents, accidents, or property damageFollow assigned routes, plan using GPS, and complete end-of-day paperworkLog work/rest periods and mileage accuratelyComply with truck rules, regulations, and company policiesReport defects, violations, or accidents promptly Qualifications & Skills Hands-on experience with electronic equipment such as GPS and AVL unitsExtensive knowledge of truck driving regulationsAdaptability to handle unexpected situations like traffic or weatherValid truck driving license, with preferred CDL B and Air Brake Endorsement Additional Details: Full-time position, in-person work, with pay ranging from $21.00 to $26.00 per hour. Prior commercial driving experience preferred, and relocation to Mexico, ME is required before starting.
