About the role

AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring that customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. As a Delivery Driver, you’ll put your safe driving skills to work, deliver automotive parts to commercial customers, and enjoy career stability with endless growth opportunities. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required, and you’ll use company-provided vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice, and offering installation services.
  • Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
  • Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
  • Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
  • Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
  • Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
  • Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
  • Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
  • Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
  • Previous experience in automotive retail.
  • A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus.
