About the role

AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring that customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. As a Delivery Driver, you’ll put your safe driving skills to work using company-provided vehicles, enjoy career stability, and access endless growth opportunities in an essential industry. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice, and offering installation services.
  • Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
  • Drive company-provided vehicles to ensure safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers; load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
  • Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
  • Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
  • Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
  • Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems; maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
  • Previous experience in automotive retail.
  • Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus.
