About the role

We are urgently seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Commercial Technician Lead in Omaha, NE to install, service, and maintain a wide variety of commercial doors and related hardware. Ideal candidates have experience in the construction industry, welding, or systems integration (e.g., access control, glass, glazing, framing). Fully trained Technicians receive commission for parts sales, a company truck, gas card, tool and boot allowance, and regular overtime opportunities. We welcome trainees—starting wage is $26.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Install and/or repair commercial doors and hardware, including roll-up doors, dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, and automatic pedestrian doors.
  • Identify opportunities to provide customers with additional products and services.
  • Track and maintain job-related paperwork, submitting it accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and operate in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Prior experience in a similar role (e.g., commercial doors, welding, access control, systems integration, glass, glazing, framing) is preferred but not required.
  • Able to lift up to 100 pounds safely and work at heights, including using ladders.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
