Commercial Door Technician

About the role

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Coppell, TX is seeking Commercial Door Technicians to service commercial doors and related products in Dallas and the surrounding areas. Candidates with experience in roll-up doors, high-speed doors, door hardware, dock equipment, dock levelers, or similar skilled trades in the commercial construction industry are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware, including roll-up doors (dock doors), dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with additional products and services.
• Track and maintain job-related paperwork, submitting it in a timely manner.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience in a similar role or one requiring mechanical aptitude (preferred).
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
