What You'll Do

  • Responsible for leading a team of field advertising sales team to exceed revenue goals within planned sales expenses
  • Participate in recruiting, growing, and managing a team
  • Work with the VP, APAC to manage all aspects of the team’s sales function including developing new and incremental business, setting goals and ICP lists, determining needs, and proposing appropriate programs directly or via sales staff
  • Build a trusted partnership with marketing to drive thought leadership initiatives and elite client engagement opportunities
  • Be active in the field, making sales calls throughout the territory, and drive revenue directly and through the sales team
  • Develop and maintain strong high-level relationships with top-tier advertising agencies & clients
  • Regular reporting including forecasts against plans
  • Work closely with other functional areas to execute sales programs, deliver campaigns, drive marketing programs, etc.
  • Build an intimate understanding of Quantcast products and their place in the industry
  • Build agency/direct client relationships with senior level executives
  • Represent the Company as a key external evangelist at industry events, conferences, panels, media/PR opportunities, etc.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years sales experience in online advertising
  • Current or previous management experience
  • Proven track record of establishing and exceeding team and individual goals
  • Proven track record of personally pitching and closing business, in addition to building and managing a sales organisation
  • Strong analytical skills for managing a systematic sales funnel with key metrics, and for demonstrating ROI to advertisers
  • Outgoing and adept at creating professional relationships. Contacts at both senior and junior levels is a plus
  • Experience in audience-based selling of digital media is ideal
  • Strong understanding of fundamentals of online advertising processes and technology
  • Active in industry trade and networking events
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work
  • Hunter mentality, tenacity, and ability to “think on your feet”
  • Adept at using Salesforce.com

Pay
