About the role

Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc. in Newark, DE is seeking a full-time Commercial Construction Recruiter to support the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative, strategic recruitment plans using social media campaigns, professional and college-based recruiting sites and events, advanced internet techniques, and networking with internal and external resources.
• Attract top talent to gain a competitive advantage in the market and fuel the company’s growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ recruiting experience, preferably in construction, mechanical contracting, or skilled trades environments.
• Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
• Basic understanding of commercial construction jobsite operations and labor classifications.
• Knowledge of Employment Law and workforce compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of background check and drug screen with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
