Responsibilities
- Oversight and coordination of concrete laborers and finishers on job sites.
- Interpret blueprints and project specifications, assigning tasks accordingly.
- Promote and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure high-quality work is completed on schedule and meets all specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of work progress, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to report on progress and address issues.
- Maintain accurate records of workforce, daily activities, and timelines.
- Participate in planning and scheduling of concrete pours and finishing operations.
- Address and resolve on-site issues or conflicts effectively.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of concrete experience with a minimum of 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, tools, and safety standards.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to pass a federal criminal background check and drug screening.
